The Made in NY Media Center by IFP is pleased to announce the opening of Sojourner, a solo exhibition of light projection from John Ensor Parker, and a viewing of Make Bright the Arrows, a film collaboration with Sarah Walko

The gallery will present work, designed for our 360-degree projection system and LED wall, that engages the architecture of the space using light and movement. The work explores the energetic relationship between people, from the natural laws such as quantum entanglement, to how emotions affect our psychology and perception.

Make Bright the Arrows is a film collaboration with Sarah Walko that explores the concept of two individuals going through what is referred to in philosophy as “the dark night of the soul.” This term is used to describe what one could call a fall of all illusions in one’s life. This crisis state contains the possibility of emerging with a transformed state of consciousness as all cultural programming and conditioning has fallen away into higher awareness.

The film will be screened for the duration of the exhibition's opening on 11/3, from 6-9pm.
