The Made in NY Media Center by IFP is pleased to present “Submerged!” as part of the annual DUMBO Arts Festival

“Submerged!” is a multi-artist video installation curated by Karl Erickson and Leo Kuelbs based on three short stories by Leo Kuelbs. Considered seven pieces of a whole, “Submerged!” brings artists from a variety of backgrounds together to create collaborative works that encompass digital and hand-drawn animations, overlaid imagery, and camera-based work. Artists include Danielle de Picciotto and Alex Hacke, Sam Marlow and Alon Cohen, Nicole Antebi and Laura Ortman, Kitzinger Gabor and Alex Hamadey, Shir Lieberman, Jonathan Phelps and Fabio Fonda, United VJs, and Jim Ellis.

The DUMBO Arts Festival is a free public event. Each year it seeks to highlight Brooklyn’s commitment to and presence in the arts community by presenting the best in local, national, and international art amid the breathtaking backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline. The DUMBO Arts Festival attracts 200,000 visitors over 3 days with the participation of over 400 artists from a variety of disciplines, 100 studios, 50 galleries and stages and 100 programming partners.
