Today the Made in NY Media Center by IFP announced its first Creative >> Founder Lab, a program intended to give creative entrepreneurs the tools to turn a creative concept into a successful business. The Creative >> Founder Lab will run over the course of eight weeks, with workshops each Monday morning. Additionally, throughout the week there will be opportunities for group-study sessions, office hours with the Media Center’s Experts – in – Residence, along with happy hours and other networking events.
Participants are encouraged to come to the lab with a creative and entrepreneurial idea. The Lab will consist of workshops in pitch training, project management, marketing/PR, grant funding, and business development. Participants will benefit from the feedback of the expert staff, as well as from that of their peers. Access to the Made in NY Media Center by IFP Community Workspace will offer participants a space in which to develop their ideas and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
Participants will leave the program with an actionable business plan and a widened network including both leaders and up-and-comers in worlds of media and entertainment.
